About me

I'm a backend developer with a strong focus on building scalable Java applications. Over the past couple of years, I've been diving deep into Spring, JSF, Hibernate, Docker and MySQL.

My journey started in the world of Environmental Sciences, where I discovered how powerful digital tools could be when applied to real-world problems. That led me to explore data processing, scripting, and eventually, full-blown web application development.

These days, I'm working on modernizing legacy systems, managing containerized deployments, and setting up CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and Jenkins. I’ve also gotten into Apache Kafka for real-time data sync between apps, which I find both challenging and exciting.

I'm particularly interested in the intersection between backend systems, automation, and data — whether that’s through monitoring with Grafana, making SQL queries, or building services that work efficiently.
